Pic shows: Henry Damon had already had bumps put on his forehead and arms before deciding to have the end of his nose chopped off to look like villain Red Skull. A comic book fan decided to have his nose removed so he could look like Marvel comic super villain Red Skull. Henry Damon, 37, who now calls himself Red Skull, is from the Venezuelan capital Caracas and had already had bumps put on his forehead and arms before deciding to have the end of his nose chopped off. Pal Pablo Hernandez said of the happily married dad: "He has loved comic books since he was a kid and always dreamed of being Red Skull, but never got round to doing it. "Then he met up with a brilliant surgeon who specialises in extreme body modifications and just knew that this was his opportunity." Ranked as the 14th greatest comic book villain of all time, Red Skull first appeared in 1947 as the Nazi agent arch-enemy of comic book hero Captain America. He was most recently portrayed by British-Australian actor Hugo Weaving in the 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger. The surgeon who Henry went to was Emilio Gonzalez who dropped out of medical school to concentrate on tattooing and extreme body surgery. He said: "First I have to ensure that a person is 100 percent healthy, with no respiratory disease. "I asked for a tomography of the nose and sinuses to assure me that it was ok for surgery. "In addition, a nasal mucus sample was taken to make sure that it had no infection. "Henry aka Red Skull is a physically and intellectually healthy person. "He’s an excellent son, husband and father, who has an extreme taste for body modification. "Most of my customers know that body modification is the last step of body art, everyone knows very well what they want and as well as Henry, many of them are waiting for me for many years to make their dreams a reality." But he admitted that chopping off Henry’s nose was only the first step towards changing him into Red Skull. Gonzalez said: "Next will be silicone implants on the cheekbones, chin and cheeks. "Then we will dye his face read and then he will be Red Skull." (ends)

Captain America The First Avenger

We are, of course, great fans of the comic book bad guy Red Skull. But it seems our level of admiration for Red Skull falls far short with that of Henry Damon’s unadulterated fascination.

This Venezuelan man has taken body modification to an extreme with his attempt at transforming his face into that of Red Skull. This fella has subdermal implants, tattooed red skin, tattooed eyes (black) and even had a portion of his nose sliced off. Though this Red Skull has a beard it seems.
