This skull creation made from wood is from the hands of artist Ben Greener and is available as a print from his online presence at Saatchi Online. For some reason it reminds me of a small scale Wicker Man but one I would rather not
Here are a selection of skulls the I found on the wonderfully macabre Midnight Gallery Tumblr. As they are Tumblr images I will spend some time tracking down the artists/photographers/creators if I can and create a post for each of them with any extra historic
Ryan Mathew Cohn is a man with an obsessive passion for skulls and his bio clearly outlines his passion and makes me want to learn more about our beloved calcium friend. I stumbled upon his work while looking for more info on skull anatomy as
This lovely dripping gold skull print has been created by Sam Spratt and is available from Society 6. Sizes and prices vary from $19 - $50. This print reminds me of the scene from Game of Thrones where
We recently had a comment left by Fedz Hedz sharing his collection of skull photography in his "Virtual Museum". This is a really great catalogue that is continuously growing and shows a wide array of skulls including humans and a heap of animals. After I
Skull Appreciation Society welcomes Senor Salmes skull illustrations to the fold. This guy has some great linework illustrations and most of the time the are coloured digitally with warm retro-esque feel. The prints are available to buy from his online store on Society 6.
I found these carved human Skulls on www.dappercadaver.com. They are not real human skulls but are cast in cold resin and given an off-white finish. The skulls feature intricate Aztec and Celtic carvings and retail for $40.

Interesting 19th century model that shows skull broken apart that also displays blood vessels in the upper and lower jaw. Image found on Prof Jas Mundie Flickr.
I love tesselated triangles! Looks pretty good on this Geometric Eye Candy design by Young Davies. Image found on Yellow and other inspiring stuff. Actually a pretty cool blog so check it out.
Love this skull on Society 6 by Rachel Caldwell. The skull itself has such lovely detail and the combination of colours make the overall image less intense. Beautiful!
I have seen many skull images made from body parts but I have to say this rates as one of the most impressive. This ensemble was photographed by Michel Dierickx and was found on Confessions of a cinematographer's Flickr account.
This is such a weird combination of ideas. Cassette Tapes and Skulls, sounds like a band name. These skulls are amazing and it would be great to see more from the talented Brian Dettmer.

Nothing really clever with the title. This skull by Maskull Lassere is amazing however. This white skull was created from a stack of books that have been compressed together and then painstakingly carved into. Yes, pretty damn sweet. Double cool that he has the word skull in his name.
Kinda makes you wonder what he was doing at the time to think this idea up. Whatever is was I’m glad it happened.
These beaded skulls are from Our Exquisite Corpse. The intricate beaded-design brings the skull to life in a array of colour. They look amazing and we certainly do appreciate them!
The skulls can be bought here, and start at around £489.
