I-R0k and VR Skull by Jama Jurabaev

If there is one thing we appreciate about artists it’s that we love to see them incorporate skulls into their work.

This skull bodied character is called I-R0k , sketched by Jama Jurabaev and was the first character he designed for the eye-popping film ‘Ready Player One’.

I-R0k is the online avatar of F’nale Zandor, elder of the Sixers, played by Hannah John-Kamen. The character plays a small role in the film and is a typical griefer. Meaning I-R0k likes to harass and deliberately provoke other players in order to spoil their enjoyment.

Jama also forays into the world of VR and has created what one can only describe as a fucking fantastic VR skull.

His proficiency in VR is no doubt a mixture of skill, imagination and a whole lot of practice. Jama’s ability to think in a 3D manner probably stems from the fact that he has a bachelors degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical engineering.

He is currently working for the movie and game industry in London and hopefully, we see more skull creations like I-R0k because that is one badass looking character.
