TheTraveller – Skull Illustration

As you may have picked up from previous posts, The Skull Appreciation Society is run by Craig and Doug A.K.A Mr Four Fingers. So we love skulls as much as you do and here is one of our recent skull designs currently up for voting on Design By Humans. If this design wins then it’s get printed on a t-shirt in all it’s metallic gold glory.

If you would like to see this skull printed then head over to DBH and drop a vote.

Gilded Skull by Sam Spratt

This lovely dripping gold skull print has been created by Sam Spratt and is available from Society 6. Sizes and prices vary from $19 – $50. This print reminds me of the scene from Game of Thrones where … has molten gold poured onto his face while he is still alive.

I recommend checking out the rest of his dazzling and oozing portfolio.

BIG FUCK OFF SKULL

I will often spend more time than necessary banging out possible names for illustration pieces instead of telling it how it is. TWIY has no such compunctions as clearly shown in the naming of this intricate skull piece titled ‘BIG FUCK OFF SKULL’.

This design was destined to become a large scale metallic gold ink print on black stock. Hopefully TWIY (London based artist Alex Chappell) will let us know if this happened. With any luck it did because this is one glorious skull.

I recommend checking out his other work on his Flickr account and reading the testimonials, especially the one by HICKS (54). Funny shit.

Skull Knuckleduster

This lovely object of pain was created by none other than Alexander McQueen. Yes I will take a punch in the face with this, might as well do it in style. Not sure where this can be purchased as it is no longer featured in the online store.

Lenticular Skull

I found some weird image of a jaw bone bone accessory the other night and of course it came from the mind of none other than Alexander McQueen. So after trying to find a better quality image, I found out more about an exhibition awhile ago called Savage Beauty. These images are from the cover of the catalogue edition and are supposedly worth a few bob. Anyway, the book has this awesome lenticular cover, where you can see Mcqueen’s face and a gold skull. Probably the coolest lenticular I have seen.
