Day of the Dead Skull Cookie

A work colleague of mine was super excited to find this decorative day of the dead skull cookie online. He sent it to me immediately and shouted at me from across the office to make sure I had seen it. Maybe he wanted a high-five or something for finding it.

I have to admit though that this gingerbread skull biscuit looks great! The baker of this day of the dead treat is Cupookie and you can visit her blog here to see what other creations she has to feast on.

Bitter Teeth Chocolate Skull

This dripping chocolate skull t-shirt design called Bitter Teeth (dark chocolate teeth?) designed by Ibrahim Dilek on Threadless inspired Chloe Bird so much that she decided to make an actual Bitter Teeth chocolate cake skull! The front of the skull and jaw were created with chocolate from a silicone cast of a skull she created. The back of the skull was then created from sponge cake. The whole skull was then drenched with molten chocolate with hand finished details.

Candy Skulls

It seems the skull fetish runs in the family as my sister, without knowing about this skull blog, bought me various skull related items for Christmas. One of which were these very tasty candy skulls made from white chocolate with strawberry. It was hard not to eat the whole bag in one sitting.

These candy skulls can be bought from Treasure Island Sweets for £2.10 for 250grams or £17 for 3kgs
